Kruz's Canvases

This series of canvases were created for my own soon-to-be arriving baby boy, Kruz.

They are hanging above his crib. They were painted to go with his Jungle 123 bedding.

The K canvas: painted blue and textured, green paint for the K, brown buttons on the ends, and giraffe print ribbon along the edges

The R canvas: red-orange painted background with a darker shade for the wooden circles, brown and cream plaid ribbon cut jaggedly to form the R, handpainted wooden 'leaves' covered in green felt are scattered along the edges

The U canvas: a brown/tan paint for the canvas, a blue painted U, light yellow satin ribbons going vertically, and hand painted 1, 2, 3's along the edges (in blue, green, and red)

The Z canvas: a green 'brushed' painted background with a 'brushed' Z, two orange painted wooden circles on the ends, and brown/blue/tan dotted ribbon along the sides

The collection of 4 canvases

This canvas was created to hang above his dresser. Painted green canvas to match nursery. Lightly brushed mountains in the background. Hand painted red letters "Let him sleep, for when he wakes, he will move mountains." Initials created with thin blue satin ribbon. Small red painted dots line the edges of this canvas.

Variations of this canvas could be easily created. Any colors, any quotes, any background, any size...

New Christmas/Winter Picture Frames

I created two picture frames recently, one is "Christmasy" and one "Wintery". They are both for sale. Details listed below. Let me know if you want one or want to order one similar!


* Cost: $18 (+ shipping). Hand-painted wooden picture frame. Red, with 2 different green ribbons along the side, one ribbon wrapped around the edge of the whole frame, 4 Christmas trees, and a variety of green and red buttons. Very 3-D and very cute! This frame hangs with a green satin ribbon.

* Cost: $18 (+shipping). Hand-painted wooden picture frame. Pretty blues, whites, and silvers. 2 ribbons along the left side (light blue ribbed and sparkled silver), lightly silver-sparkled white felt snowflakes of various sizes. Snowflakes each contain a blue button (various shades, styles, and sizes). Letters are first painted white, then topped with sparkling silver gel paint for 3-D effect. Hand-painted wooden snowman has a snowflake on his scarf. :)

Sports Hanging

I created this sports hanger for a little boy's room. All hand-painted with 4 pegs: great for hanging jackets, shirts, or sports bags. Basketball, baseball, and soccer represented.

Gabriella's Grouping

This is the grouping of canvases created to coordinate with Gabriella's bedding and 'bug' nursery.

Hand-painted name canvas. Lined on top with 'fluffy' blue ribbon and crystal-like beading. Under the name are cut squares of lavender and white plaid fabric, topped with (hand tied)delicate light blue satin bows and purple buttons.

A lot of detail in this one! Hand painted canvas to match a scene in the bedding. Green and white polkadotted ribbon on the corners, green pom poms line the vine, purple pom poms on the bee, pink buttons on the wings, and 'real' artificial flowers add a true 3-D effect.

Hand-painted dragonfly on canvas. Antennae are pink pom poms, yellow ribbon along the bottom, and various size and colored green buttons on the wings coordinate with the buttons along both sides.

Hand-painted ladybug canvas, with blue pom poms for the antennae and lavender pom poms lining the top and bottom edges. The swirls were created with soft fluffy yarn-like material.

One of my favorites! Hand-painted snail canvas with glittery letters for the middle name. Lavendar ribbon along the top coordinates with the squares on the "Gabriella" canvas. The ribbon is lined with buttons of various colors to coordinate with the nursery, as is the bottom of the canvas. Lavender pom poms for the antennae and fluffy, 'feather-like' materal hanging from the bottom.

A lot of time went into this one! (I wish the picture was better.) Hand-painted bee canvas with criss crossing green satin ribbon wrapped all around. The bee has yellow pom poms for the antennae, pink buttons on the wings, and is holding a satin fabric flower.

The side of an oval stool created for a sweet baby's nursery. Soft pink lacy ribbon around the top, 6 various ribbons along each side, and a hand-painted wooden bird to match. Each side of the stool is different, but similar and coordinating.

Fall or Frosty?

Getting ready for the holidays! I love decorating for fall, Thanksgiving, winter, and Christmas! Here are just a couple of pieces of 'seasonal' art wall hangings. Each piece is custom made and can be personalized with any saying, quote, or name.

Ribbon will be added to the top for hanging. Hand-painted wooden plaque with textured ribbons, 2 glittery leaves, 2 hand-painted wooden leaves, and coordinating buttons. Isn't fall fun?

Very 3-D Wintery wall hanging. Clips are on the back for hanging, but a ribbon could also be attached. Scrolly writing. All hand-painted, wooden snowman, flakes, and 3 circles. Various shades of blue buttons and ribbons. Tiny blue pom poms for added flair.
